He's probably made the rooms by hand or found a very good site with backgrounds that you can use.

(not that i like to brag... even though i do) i did actually make all of those Backgrounds, just like the otherones, all of my backgrounds are 100% home made, only thing about any of the backgrounds that arent home made are some of the sonic boom! backgrounds which i copied from sonic advanced 1/2 that i had on my desk while i was making these, but besides that, all homemade stuff. i have paintshop pro 8 and i make the maps by actually dividing all the little pieces that make it up.
ex: in eposode 2 of sonics basement, the shelves are seperate props, the sonic game that knux was playing was a seperate prop, i have it in other colors as well, the slushy machine, the counter, everything. then i just copy and paste them where i feel like. same with flooring, walls, and other stuff.
im very proud of both and im actually was going to start working on them after i got offline today, so this gives me a good boost of comfidence, thanks for the input everyone! if anyone has any questions still, im all ears.... well eyes, since im reading this rather tha... oh nevermind.

Seperate items? That is a really unique way of making a comic! Obviously similar to a normal sprite comic but with rooms and objects instead of just characters.

Uhhh...wait. It's not mine either. It's Sonic yoda's. He has a list of avatars you can use if you go to your profile page. That's where I got Tikal from. I thought you were asking me because you wanted me to change my avatar so we wouldn't have the same one when we post.
