Tails is one half of the two best sidekicks ever to grace a Sonic game. The other being Knuckles. Everyone else is just annoying.

Yeah when sonic adventure (DC version) was released he was cooler than he is now.(hope that made sense) He is my one of my favorites I probably liked him more in the genesis games. And yeah the rest of those characters are annoying (except Shadow and Eggman he has to be in the game cause he's almost always a fond enemy for us fans.) This may be off topic but BIG SUCKS!!!!!! I had a hard time manouvering with his beely attack thing. Back on topic I think Tails is awesome ;D!

i think tails is really cool, (im my opinion-->) its too bad though that they made him not so good of a character in the more recent games, but i still like him the same. just wish he had a less childish character(still childish, but not so exagerated)

I fell in love with the flying ability. when I was younger I would switch my Sonic 2 to just Tails.

You can't make Tails fly in Sonic 2. He lies automatically in the background when your playing as Sonic and Tails but not Tails alone.
